Tristan Read: We can't all be brilliant and gifted. Fortunately for me mediocrity seems to be a multifaceted trait and this is where some of us who fall into this category really shine. Without a doubt I was born with an compulsive creative urge. People who can produce high quality hand made creations, from mundane ingredients, that show real originality have always left me in awe and envy. Am I capable of producing something even remotely as appealing? The enjoyment for me has always come from sharing the fruit of my labor with others who didn't take up the challenge. By nature I don't have a fear of failure. If it looks good and it works then near enough really is good enough for me.
